11/9/10
(Handwritten by Christopher, transcribed by parents)
Today we walked to Tortuga Bay, about 6 km away. Along the way we saw lots of mockingbirds and marine iguanas. These marine iguanas were colossal! Where we saw the marine iguanas, there was a spectacular surfing beach, but not to swim in. A while later we got to Tortuga Bay with snorkeling. There wasn’t much to see, but there was some plant life. On the way back we saw lots and lots of marine iguanas and mockingbirds. About three quarters of the way back I got a popsicle. It was a fruit creamsicle. It tasted great! We got back for and lunch had a spectacular buffet. My favorite was the potatoes. We got back to the room and I prepared a speech. After that I headed to the lobby to play a game called Phase 10. Dad won. Dad went back to the room to pack while I enjoyed myself in the lobby.
