Traveling to the US

Today and tommorrow, we travel to Charleston, South Carolina. At 2:00pm, we were picked up to go to the Iguazu airport. We flew from Iguazu, to Buenos Aires. In Buenos Aires, there are two airports. We had to drive from one airport to the other in rush-hour traffic. It took an hour and ten minutes to drive twenty five miles. When we arrived, we got in line to fly to Dallas. The line took about an hour to get to the front. After that line, we went to go to security which had a line that took half an hour. Then, we went to migrations which had another line of thirty minutes. Finally, we got to the gate. We got on the plane, and it was huge. This flight was an overnight flight that was about eleven hours long.

At 5:45 am we arrived in Dallas. We had to go through immigrations with a line of about an hour. Then we could finally check in for our flight to Charleston, South Carolina. We got on the plane and had to wait an hour at the gate, because they needed paperwork to leave. Two hours later, we arrived in Charleston, SC. This time, we had to drive. We were driving to the hotel but we didn't know where to go because we didn't have the roads in the gps. Mom had to call the hotel and get directions. At the next intersection, we noticed that we were behind our hotel's shuttle. Then, we drove to lunch. We ate at Chili's. It was the first fully american meal of the trip. I was craving honey mustard, so I got chicken strips. All the food was great. Then we went back the hotel. We drove, and walked through some parks. Then we went back to the hotel and had dinner. I was still stuffed from lunch, so I had a very small sandwich. The sandwich wasn't very good. We went back to the hotel, and slept.

  1. Charleston is one of my favorite places! I've been there several times. Have fun and see you in January!
