I finally figured out how to attach a sound file. By default, this site does not accept wav files. But if I convert it to a mov file with sound but no picture (kind of the opposite of a silent movie), I can upload. I hope this works...
This audio of some of the local birdsong was taken over a bridge above a stream outside a village in the first half of our walk this morning.
